I am certainly going to try this thank you

Really great just what I needed, I didn't know it was possible to pack the bulbs so tightly, thanks.
-
so how do they look like when they grow?...

Hi, love your video. I am new to gardening, do you take the bulbs out of the pot every year or do you leave them in and just plant summer plants on top? Thank you

Hi, I live in Northern California (USDA Zone 10a), where the minimum temperatures are around 0degC. When I plant the bulbs in a container like yours in autumn, can I just leave it outside on the patio through the winter, or do I have to protect them from frost by bringing them inside on the colder nights when temperatures drop to freezing?
Another question: If I were to plant something right now (February) in my zone, what would you recommend for a flowery/fragrant display through the summer? -
You said you can just put them outside? I live in the US in zone 5b where we usually have winter (though its been a very mild one so far). I'm not sure how long of a cooling period they need before blooming. Would it be too late if I started the container now and put them outside?

Very clear and concise video. Thank you.

The pot I used is about 30cms [12"] top diameter. You could use smaller or larger containers and just adjust bulb numbers accordingly. Plants are very adaptable sidewinder7199

Your video has helped me to start my first bulb container, may i ask what size is the pot ?
-
Very informative thank you.

Thanks...well presented and articulate.
I do a similar arrangement here in Canada but without the Muscari...now will add them. The violas on top are icing on the cake! Never thought of this. Some of the best ideas are the simplest.
Very much appreciated. -
Secondly can lasagne be created with summer bulb. If yes, please suggest which summer bulbs.

Hi, I had a concern. In bulb layering the first flowering bulb goes into dormancy , it won't need water where as other bulbs would need. Then how to water the pot?
-
Excellent video! Thank you! I hadn't planted a container with layers of bulbs because I was concerned that I might need to be too precise with bulb placement. I'm glad that is not the case.
