I bought it from florida hill I have it in a 16" pot, keeping it moist, and fertilized. It has been in the pot for 4 or 5 weeks, Not growing at all. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks

I live in the MidAtlantic area and I really want to bring them inside my home in the winter. Have you ever brought them inside? I would like to keep them growing all year long!

+Anna Mattiuzzo This plant i got at Connon Nurseries in Waterdown a few years ago. I have also seen them at Garden Gallery here in Burlington. they seem to be a seasonal thing. I believe Vessey's the mail order place had some. If i see them it's usually in the summer when it's hot. Not usually in the spring.

What zones does the Thailand Giant thrive in? I happen to live in south Florida-zone 10.

Taro leaves dried a little bit in sunlight are great when cooked with coconut milk ) saute garlic, onions, pork and shrimp paste, coconut milk and taro leaves ( wait to have oil ) . Filipinos love to eat it and it is called here ' LAING " and it is great with hot rice and fish or dried fish . Enjoy !!

I just bought three of these from a nursery I found on craigslist. I've never seen such a huge plant before. I was going to try growing the giant taro but these are awesome too. Not sure if they're related, the same, or completely different.

Beautiful!!!! Would love to grow this in my yard. I live in zone 7, we do get some low temps during winter along with freezing rain and snow occasionally. will these beauties survive this?

Can you propagate them through a cutting?
-
Do you have to keep it in shade, or can it tolerate full sun?
