A guide to farming Dark Elixir at Town Hall 7 in Clash of Clans. This video contains two different attack strategies for gathering DE at TH7 - both specifically targeting valuable storage as well as using Lightning Spells to loot DE from high yield storages. In general, I do not recommend going too far out of your way to farm Dark Elixir at Town Hall 7 in Clash of Clans. While I know everyone wants a level 5 Barbarian King for the Rage ability (or perhaps even a level 1 Barbarian King if you are a new TH7), but the truth is its easiest to farm off of players who are either one level lower than your current Town Hall or equal to your current level. At Town Hall 7, other TH7 players have very little Dark Elixir to take and TH6 do not have any DE at all. As a result, it is a lot easier to go up to TH8 and TH9 and get DE at these higher levels.

This person did the exact same opposite. He was supposed to deploy his barbarians first before his archers to act as an shield for the archers.

I feel it's very in efficient to farm DE in TH-7. Just get the BK and you can upgrade him at TH-8..

You'll have more time and elixir to spend in TH-8 because the TH-8 lab is a bottleneck.

I'm silver two at the moment and I find a good 1k on average

best bet should be a wag atk, giants, archers, wizards, and healers.
you can get pretty far in to the base, so you can atk early or mid th8s and you can get like 1k + DE, wag is real good for DE farming
