What size container was the oval one and I was planning on planting cilantro, basil, and some parsley. About how many of each plant should I plant in the size container you have? Or do you recommend a different size container?

Love it. Thanks for the info. ;0)

I have a very green thumb and just started growing Cilantro from seed. I started them in my starter pots (I use Styrofoam cups) and then latter read that they do not do good at transplanting. And that transplanting is ill advised. Dose her method for transplanting work??? Or should you sow where you are going to grow?

goodness, mint i very forgiving. I've had people cut it to the ground and it will still return. to keep it producing, cut the tallest stalks down about 3 -4 leaf buds. if you cut right above those leaf junctions you will get two stalks coming up. leave a couple of leaves below the cut to keep it growing. Some mints can be aggressive so keep your plants in a pot, or give them lots of room in the garden!
