Absolute rubbish, I agree with DaBoyBaker. Of course it matters about metal or plastic. You shouldn't even file your nails with a metal nail file either, metal is terrible. The best way to grow afro hair is to keep it clean, moisturised, trimmed, and left alone as much as possible in between, too much combing and tugging the hair breaks the hair. My hair is a 14 inches long and I achieved this by doing what I stated above. Leave afro hair alone, let it grow in peace.
