Tips, Tricks
BEST TIPS FOR GROWING CABBAGE PLANTS FOR TRANSPLANTING! In this video I show how I take small plants and grow them to a larger size for transplanting into my garden I have covered the growing bed with 3/4 inch bird netting to prevent the Cabbage moth from laying eggs on my cabbage. #cucumbersOAG #tomatoesOAG #greenbeansOAG

Hi! Your cabbage plants are beautiful! Curious about a few things. What did you make your hoops out of, and what do you plan to put over the hoops to cover your plants with? We live in northern Mississippi so I think our weather should be fairly similar. What temperature would it have to get down to for you to cover your cabbage plants? Enjoyed your video! Thank you.

Those are beautiful! I wish I would have known about the bird netting, the little green caterpillars had a buffet on my brussel sprout leaves. Thankfully they are gone and the stalks are coming along nicely. :) Blessings and thank you!

Some of the pretties cabbage I've seen. We started ours pretty early over here. Heat did a job on them, but they are coming along now. Collard greens took a beeting too.. Speaking of Beets... Did you loose all of them? (Sorry for not putting up a video lately. Camera issues, soon to be resolved.)

One of these days, I'm going to figure this Brassica thing out. I could do without the cabbage, broccoli, or cauliflower. But, I so want some Brussel Sprouts. =( It looks like finally tonight...we might get a freeze. They said last night we'd get one. But, no. It was really chilly today with a predicted low in the 20's for tonight. I guess we'll see. Be a weather person when you grow up. The only person that I know of that gets paid a LOT of money to be wrong most of the time. HA Have a great evening, OAG. :)
