I found my 1995 Ford F350 Crew Cab long bed on the side of the road in Orlando, Florida with a blown 351 Windsor motor for $1,500. guy said he'd take $1,400. for it. I bought a low mileage 5.8L 351W for $500. pulled from a motor home. had it installed for $700. With a fresh tune up, new water pump, thermostat, all new gaskets , new rear main seal & even new motor & transmission mounts. replaced the battery & air conditioning compressor. that I bought at the junkyard for $20.. A/C blows cold after adding a new orifice tube & pag oil with ice.. replaced tires with some brand new tires, I seen coming in the junkyard, on a newer F250 for $200. I'm happy with the truck in has plenty of room for both passenger's & cargo & will haul & tow anything. my truck is also very clean like yours. A one owner with service maintenance record's. I been offered $6,000. for my truck. but, they hard to replace ... I too wish I had a diesel. thanks for sharing that's a great truck 4×4 manual extended cab long bed

You stole that truck for the price you paid.
-
Put a Jasper engine in it.
-
Throw a motor in it, the bodys good enough. Nicer than most trucks work up north that are driven on the road
-
Check the thermostat housing; change the gasket.Flush the coolant and that will probably fix you up.Most trucks that have never had a coolant flush coolant becomes acidic and eats the thermostat gasket so it will seep coolant in small amounts and burn off when the engine heats up.
-
take the tires off it and send the rest to the scrap yard
-
My truck is sound mechanically in pretty much every way. Just a bit of body damage and horrid paint. 43000 original miles
-
another dead giveaway of a non fireing piston is when your ford gas motor sounds like a power stroke. lol

im looking to buy one for everyday because the old hilux has reached over 380000km but it still works fine its my dads truck but i hear the f trucks chew fuel thats the only problem becuase diesel is $1.95 per leter.

That damn pvc valve. Put some teflon on the threads.
-
Body of that truck looks really solid! Hard to find something like that in MN

i bought three trucks for like $900-1800 over the past ten years, they just sit there mostly as they hardly ever start when you need em. Whenever I see a decent truck for cheap on craigslist, I write em a check. But I bought a 98 subaru wagon when I was shopping for an ATV. I was like, for the price of an ATV, I can buy a real car and then when I am cutting hay or plowing or whatever all sweaty and bloody, smelling of manure and grass, I can just get in the car and get diesel or oil or whatever, something you can't do with an ATV. Best decision ever.

Nice truck, I have a 95 F350 myself. On a side note what hat is that, I want one.

It's funny, I've got a 2000 ranger, not really the most powerful towing wise, and it doesn't have the biggest bed, but it sure has made me happy and I've never had any problems with it that have stopped me from working

i recommend to the viewers, 1996 or older Ford pickups with v8 4x4 , older square body Chevy's and GMC pickups as well, I've always done quite well with my 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 v8 magnum its a good worker, and player
-
i recommend that you take the oil fill cap off and feel for compression blow by bad rings would be the cause probably caused by a bad head gasket flooding a cylinder and causing a ring blow out
-
thats a 6-8k ATLEAST truck up in CT
-
We're I live all old trucks are rusted out:(

if u have white smoke out of the tail pipe means that there's coolant is getting in the combustion chamber but if you said there's oil getting in the combustion chamber the exhaust smoke be blue not white.
