Ty Ty Nursery always welcomes experts who know everything, especially "invasive experts" who wear nazi patches on their sleeves. Thank you for watching the mulberry video and your comment. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel on the you tube.
-
Interesting, I wouldn't think you guys would sell invasives (W. Mulberry) to homeowners. I'm not too familiar with the policies of that, but seems kind of...risky business.

Mulberries do grow in Europe, however, very few cultivars are offered for sale there. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe to our channel on you tube.

We at Ty Ty Nursery check everything for bugs before we eat them, especially berries, fruit-on-trees and grapes. The high protein content and the flavor of the bugs does not interest us at all.

Before you eat please check...bugs.

White mulberry trees are extremely productive and produce honey-sweet berries that contain enough sugar for drying to eat later during the winter. The leaves of the white mulberry are used still in Turkey today to feed silkworms where the valuable silk Turkish rugs are made. New outstanding mulberry cultivars have evolved in Pakistan and Iran (Persia), the black Pakistani mulberry growing 5 inches long and the Iranian cultivars bearing crops of delicious berries the very first year of planting.

Mulberry trees were treasured a valuable fruit tree in the ancient civilizations for feeding families, fattening livestock and feeding wildlife animals. Basically there are 3 color types of mulberries, black (Morus nigra), red (Morus rubrum) and white (Morus alba), each type being edible. Improved hybrid mulberrry cultivars are often grafted on red mulberry rootstock to dwarf the tree, making the trees ideal for planting in small backyard gardens. Very often hybrid trees bear the 1st year.
