The only way to get different colors on one plant is by grafting. I would use what is called a "side veneer graft." Do a search on Youtube and you'll see some examples. Grafting takes a lot of practice. Good luck.

You stress "do not over-water." So true! If you over-water, you will get mold or the cuttings will rot. However, I have gotten lucky with just sticking cuttings in a jar of water. What seem to be bulby white roots form and then I plant in the soil. Several "take."

What's going on with my bougainvillea?? They grow big and beautiful brats, taking weeks to bloom...then all of a sudden, and all in one day..they are all GONE. Any idea why??
