Aleichem shalom! I wanted to thank you for the video. I had never gardened before this year, but I built two raised beds outside our townhouse. Following your advice I bought some Swiss Chard (not seeds - will try that next year!) and it's been giving all year long. I also planted short carrots and cucumber (and learned about need to thin for next year) but got some for harvest. Now, hoping things stay on the cooler side here, I've planted radish and black seeded simpson lettuce. The radishes just sprouted and I'm enjoying nibbling on the thinned sprouts.

Thanks for the tips. I'm planning on starting my first small garden this year and don't have any experience so these tips are great.

You should make a shirt that says super easy to grow. Lol. But cool video thanks for the tips

Great video!!! This is exactly what I needed! Very happy you didn't us a bunch of technical terms! Thankfully all the veggies I started were on your list! I think I will add Swiss chard and bush beans! I have a little more room!

Nice video. I found those finely woven sheer curtains works great to deter leaf miners and lettuce moths. Drape it over and weigh down the edges.

Great video. Thanks for stressing how easy it is to grow your own veggies. Us beginning gardeners need to hear that. Also, your love of collards makes me trust you even more. That's the only thing still grown in abundance in my neck of the woods.

Thanks for this video. Will include in the African Holistic Health Chapter of NY April 1, 2014 Newsletter.
