http://foodscape.tips Dori and I pulled the first beet of the season today. I made sure that I only planted one seed per hole and I was surprised to know that just one seed can produce multiple beets in the same location. Last year I thought whoever planted beets planted multiple seeds and overcrowded the planting area...but having spaced out my planting by 6 inches each I found multiple beets growing from one seed. How do you prepare beets? Boiled, Juiced, Salads? Beet Greens? Do you eat them?
