thank you so much for sharing. I was wondering if you don't save the seeds from the plants that are bolting? also how big is your patch. the cabbages you have covered do you water them?

diatomaceous earth is pulverized diatoms which are single-cell silicaceous animals. Last year I used Azomite rock dust on my plants and I never saw one tomato horn worm or cabbage looper. Maybe you could try that for the Mexican bean beetles. It seems to make plants less tasty to insects.

How many tomatoes do you plant? Actually, it'd be cool to wed the different varieties and how much of these you plant, where you get your seeds from, why you plant the varieties you do, what your plans are for certain veggies (fresh use, canning, freezing, preserving). And yes, a gardener's dilemma is always "not enough space!" Lol
