How did you grow the trees? i wanna grow some avocado trees. Also how long did it take for it to start growing avocados?
-
you should throw a bunch of mulch around the trees to covermthe roots and add some organic material to that sandy soil.

I just bought a grafted one at 3 feet from a nursery for $5. Do you need special fertiliser? It is taking too long for a new leaf bud to sprout with my Avocado...

hi u can see in other videos if u look around u can cover all your plants with free mulch from your neighborhood there are some websites like back too Eden people have amazing crops save money cheers

13 years!! congratulations on your persistence though. now you will have more than you can eat. grafting on to your young seedlings will help to get to fruiting stage much sooner, 2 to 3 years, all going well

Any insight as to how to save my tree? I think it got to hot this summer and the new growth all of sudden died. I under watered during our SoCal heatwaves. I bought mulch, tree wrap and worm casting as a last resort. I dont want to give up. ive heard it can take up to a year for it to come back. I dont know how old this tree is but when I moved in 3 years ago, it bore fruit.

grafted trees wont take that long to get fruit . I grew mine from seed took about 8 years to fruit .if I did it again I would buy a tree from nursery they are all grafted . your tree looks good .

Avocados keep Growing on the tree, but only ripen off of the tree!! So when the Avocado is the size that you want remove them from the tree to ripen good luck with your trees

What a gorgeous tree! You must have a lot of patience to wait 13 years, but it looks like it will be totally worth it! Your backyard will look like a rainforest with all those beautiful trees!! Thanks for sharing!

I have avocado but the plant grew fruit in 3 years, but I have a different type of avocado. A lot of people grow them in water but mine are grown in compost and since I live in the Caribbeans maybe that's why they grow faster. Great video.

I live in northern CA too and I have 2 avocadoes to plant, do know the best time of year to plant them? I can't wait to get them in the ground and have been waiting for winter for some reason. Thanks Kim
