Boer goats were introduced to Australia via genetic material in the late 1980s and the live animals were released in the mid 1990s. The Australian Boer Goat has had a tremendous impact either as full blood or as a crossbred with rangeland (feral) and cashmere. Main markets for Australian Boer Goat exporters include Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and more recently the UAE. The video shows some fine examples of full blood boer goats, our focus on exporting quality animals and the impact boers have had worldwide in crossbreeding programs involving Australian boer goats.
