Aspirin: Tomato Disease Prevention by Using Aspirin to Trick Your Tomato - TRG 2012
Tips, Tricks
Use aspirin to mimic a tomato hormone that will boost your tomatoes defenses against disease. You basically trick your tomato into disease response mode and toughen it up before leaf spot, blights and other diseases arrive. Can you use aspirin to other plants ?
-
Where's your beer?

Is it really 4 tablets with 81 mg? Too much aspirin may lower the pH level in plants causing them to become acidic. Will it be fine if I put 2 tablets only?

Dear Sir,
Can I use Delspirin for plant grow? because of Aspirin is not available in Nepal. Aspirin Nepal this off. -
"Aspirin" is a modern day name for the naturally occurring derivative of willow bark called salicilic(sp?) acid used as a common pain killer, ect., which in agriculture is know as a natural rooting agent. This is a very interesting application new to my limited years of gardening !

First I would like to say that how you explain things is so wonderful. I am a why person...and you get right to the point without filling your videos with babble. I have a question about all the sprays you suggest. Is it possible to combine baking soda, aspirin, and the Epsom salts in same sprayer? Are you aware if there might be an adverse reaction by doing so.

I crush the aspirin first to make it dissolve a little faster and since I started using this my tomatoes don't have as many headaches
-
How often do you spray with the aspirin?
-
Cool. you are so smart

Aspirin is actually acetylsalicylic acid, not salicylic acid.

Hi gary,
great information. I was wondering if you can take a look at a young tomato plant for me, and let me know what you think. It is developing minor spots on the edges of new growth leaves as well as other leaves. It seems like only 1 or 2 of my tomato plants are affected by this. Should I get rid of them, or at least separate them from the rest of them? How can I show you these pictures? -
i still have some Effervescent Aspirin can i use that for it?
