How to aoe farm post 1.2 patch. It still works but not as easy as it was pre 1.2.but still very doable. Here is my build Archeage is a sandbox / sandpark korea mmorpg made by xl games and published by trion worlds. TODAY we got a lot of info and the beginning compensation was rolled out. 1 month free patron status for those that were patrons at launch. They also released 3 new USA servers which filled up rapidly but did help lower queues somewhat.They just released 3 more NEW EU servers ArcheAge launched Tuesday, September 16 at 10:00 AM PDT (GMT-7)! With launch, our entire community will begin their journey in Erenor. Players who participated in our Open Beta or Head Start events will not need to redownload the entire game client. An small incremental patch to Version 1.2 Build 4.9 will be needed from the Open Beta client. Head Start, our four-day pre-launch event for Founders, will transition to launch at 10:00 AM PDT. Players who are in-game will not be affected but all queues will be reset as our authentication server will need to be restarted as part of launch preparation. At this time, the launch build will be available to all players from Glyph. Please note that all characters and their progress will be retained between Head Start and launch. I tried out different builds for AOE farming.
Sorcerer, Occultism, (Vitalism / Songcraft)
Sorcerer, Whichcraft, Occultism
Sorcerer, Whichcraft, Auramancy
Last 2 is kinda nice magic AOE DPS with personal healing and mana regen. I hardly ever run out of mana in solo farming. Whichcraft give me a lot mana from damageing the mobs. U blamed Meteor from Sorcery. It is kinda OP. Lure the mobs, Magic circle, AOE Fear them, Meteor on your azz, Auramancy pull them on u, then searing rain. If they are still alive then u can push them away with whicraft and pull them back again, or u also can insert a freezing field right afte meteor start falling, cause before hit the ground it alredy deal dmg and give freez effect for them. Boosting up your meteor dmg.

Or, lure, Magic circle, freezing field, aoe fear if u do not have Auramancy, then they are freezed and do not go that far. All u need is goodtimeing with Meteor. If u get use to it mobs not even will hit u, cause meteor insta knock them down. :)

It was my opinion and my experience when i tried out a lot different skilltrees and skills and combos.

should i use my +10%loot pot when grind mob or when i opening coin purse?

The build was nice but your insight on dungeon loot is ridiculous. It is a level 31 staff with 200 magic attack. Descent crafted staffs that cost only ~500g can have 350 magic attack easily with much better stats.

I/m gonna guess english is not your first language. You could not pronounce any of the skill names correctly. thankfully it was a good tutorial video.

Is this still a good build?

Can you use 'appraisal certificates' to sell, not the land plot but the 8x8 / 16x16 farms or can use just on actual buildings (farm cottages and thatched house) ?

This is basically going to be used for farming CPs. In that case, it is fairly well known that AOE farming is doable, but WAY WAY WAY less efficient than just single or double pulling in a chain at a dense location.

You kill 8 things sure, but then you have a ton of downtime to heal and wait for CDs and rebuff, etc. You are looking at an average of doing this once every minute and a half TOPS, likely once per 2 minutes average. thats 4 mobs a minute which is AWFUL. If you had Sorc/WC/anything and just cast magic circle, and spammed nothing but fireblast on one target at a time you could hit 4 mobs per minute.

I laugh every time I see people AOE farming. I can sit in one spot, spin around on magic circle, and chain pull or mob juggle 2-3 at a time. Mana return on damage and mudhand enervate combo heals which gives almost infinte sustain. I can literally go without stopping for hours. If im in the zone i can hit about 350 mobs an hour. With this AOE build you would be hitting 240 in a perfect situation.

any good melee AOE builds?

I tried an aoe farming method from beta and got my ass handed to me I hope this works out.

How do you start with Auramancy? It's not listed in my starting 6 skillsets?

u are lvl 50 and get owned by lvl 28 mobs?

How are you getting all those dust/pearls?

The AoE build I've using to farm was Abolisher(Battlerage/Defense/Auramancy) Pop parry and Redoubt then spam Tigerstrike/Whirlwindslash. Meditate and Healing shout for up time. Currently farming 130 coin purses an hour with this build.

Is there any reason in a AoE build you don't take retribution ?
