Tired of having her flowers ruined by deer, Krystal Ritchie-Kehler tried a tip from her local nursery four years ago. She says the results were almost immediate and very effective. Every two weeks, Krystal combines one egg yolk, a tea-spoon of baking powder and a liter of water to a bucket. She than sprays the home-made recipe to cedar tress, rose bushes and everything she wants to keep away from hungry deers. The recipe was given to her by her local nursery. The nursery says it first learned of the "egg spray" technique when they worked in London, England. It says the smell of the egg keeps the deer away. Krystal says she now goes an entire summer without having any deer trouble in her backyard. Follow Chandler Grieve on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/CTVNewsChandler
