Tips, Tricks
http://www.Herbfest.net sells over 30 varieties of basil herb plants. The African Blue Basil is propagated from cuttings, not seeds, so there is no need to "dead head" the plant as is done with most basil herb plants. African Blue Basil is an edible basil, very colorful, intenser flavor, and an annual in most climates. Due to the beautiful blue purple color makes for an interesting and showy ornamental basil in the garden. Can also be steeped for a basil herb tea.

I bought 4 African Blue Basil plants for my bees. I'm not disappointed. They LOVE it. After the honeybees have gone back in the evening, the bumblebees are still working it. I was hoping I could plant the seeds and I'm happy that you set me straight. I won't waste time trying to plant the seeds, just the cuttings. Thanks.
