Great video! With a tomato plant such as Black Krim, how many tomatoes would you estimate you'd get in a good growing season?

Those look really, really good! You know I'm listening to you and think I should be constantly adding calcium to the plants that we are having a heat wave here in Texas. My heirlooms put on 13-tomato's before I had to cut them all the way back. Though they are fast rejuvenating themselves and I am hoping by Fall or early Winter I can harvest some more than the thirteen. Thanks for posting your videos they help, but I don't know if I want to keep placing down paper and more sand as you prune them, that gets to being a lot of work. You know when we garden as kids, we planted in a huge space my parents would rent, left them alone for about a couple of weeks, went back and weed, water and left them again. We didn't do any of the special things that you are doing and still we got lots of fruit. I am wondering if it was because the temperatures in the North during spring are not too hot usually? Right now back home they are having anywhere from 75-89 degree temperature, beats what we have been getting in Texas with humidity factor 100-110 temp. and without rain!

the leaves will usually curle when is too hot to avoid loosing too much water via transpiration

My heirlooms are starting to bud, they are only a foot tall. Does it matter if I let it bloom or should I snip them off to give more energy?

Excellent info Gary, question though - should I do the newspaper/sand deal with my container tomatoes? Thanks in advance, and I'll be using lots of your info this year to improve my container garden. Best of luck in 2016!
