how do we start them from seeds

One of the things I miss about Michigan....gardening.

i have given up on growing tomatoes. I grew 2 determinate tomatoes in 2 diff containers at two different times with new potting mix and fungicides(organic of course). They were from 2 diff packets of seeds. But both tomatoes leaves within one and half months started turning yellow and then brown. They started wilting from the top and proceeded to the bottom. The plant looks so bad now. Can't control leafminers even though i squish the leaves, they keep coming back and then to make matters worse the horrible wilting. My plant has been reduced to nothing now. What could have been the problem?? I fail to understand.

hey there I have an odd question for you. I had a Roma tomato growing on the main stem of my plant and about a month or so into it growing it suddenly turned yellowish orange on me and it was still very small. I ended up just cutting it off but I was just wondering why you think this may have happened. thanks!

our tomatoes are growing small in size to what they should be

I live in CA where they cram houses together, nearly on top of each other, so I only have a space for 3 medium sized pots and 2 small boxes at the most. But, I have about 35 to 40 seedlings, just hatching, about 1 inch tall and not enough space. They are about 1 inch tall now and I don't want to kill them off. Since I only have about 5 square feet, is there anything that can be done? Should I just give them more food, or more calcium egg shells and bath salts? We water them every morning and every evening and they get lots of sun light. I really don't want to kill them, that would be too sad. What can i do?

Where do you give the mix and handling of your compost tea??

I ground about 6 egg shells, and put it on top of about an inch of coffee grounds. Already I have several red tomatoes, with no problems on the plant. You may want to look into this on your tomato plants.

I live in an apartment, so I have to container plant. I have a Big Boy Tomato planted in a 17" pot. Plant is doing exceptional but I noticed I had BER so I added calcium to the soil and sprayed the leaves. But along with the BER I am also getting lots and lots of blossoms but most die and fall off. I have about 5 other small tomato's set on. Am I just impatient or doing something wrong??? It has been about 30 years since I tried to grow a garden, and forgot most of what I knew. I pinched all the suckers off as they came on and have a very large sturdy plant, but not many tomato's Help!!!

Great video, you do a wonderful job! Very informative. I am wondering if you have any recipes that are effective for killing weeds? Something that I can make at home and is natural/biodegradable/won't hurt my vegetable plants.... I'm getting a take over in my garden bed with weeds and I'm hoping to spray them without killing the plants that I want to keep.

Perhaps it should be called, " A guide to planting tomatoes in preparation for healthy organic tomatoes." I want to see you, plant, grow, prune, stake, etc. all in one vid, if it is to live up to the name "Complete." :-)

My early girl tomato plant is about 2 feet tall and setting flowers. But most flowers are falling and drying out and not setting fruit. This is my first ever time growing any kind of plant. what can I do?

How much water, when is the best time to water.

our beefsteaks end up small with cracks and black like mold. the fruit is delicious but wasted 1/2 the tomato with the hard cracks and the black. its about 5 feet tall, no bugs, green but not much fruit. some of the fruit is buried int he leaves of this plant. We have not fertilized it as we should from this video, nor added egg shells or epsom salt...

Also, how much is your trifecta? Where do I find it?
