The best spot for me are the 4 man serpents to the right of the archdragon peak bonfire. Individually they don't pay as much as the silver or lothric knights in Anor Londo/Lothric Castle but they go down faster and are clustered right next to the bonfire. You can easily down them in like 20 secs or even less , go rest at the bonfire rince and repeat. It's faster and more efficient than killing the knights imho because you can do it much faster. Plus they can drop titanite chunks and lightning gems.

Shield of want
CSR
Symbol of Avarice
Lloyd's ring
Hornet's ring
Hunter's/Knight's ring
Hard hitting weapon on high level (Dragonslayer's axe +8)
-When you kill NPC switch over to Mendicate staff (or something) by keeping it as you secondary and gain 9 504 souls per 20s (Aroud 1.5m per hour)
Just stand behind him and as soon as light underneath him starts fading backstab him and wait 'till he get half way up, then smash him few more times and repeat -
pod is found in the flame less firelink

The Winged knights farming is much better.
-
Dude I freaking love your voice
-
What's his head armour called?

Pro-tip: farm the man serpent mage at The Great Belfry bonfire to get the Medicant Staff. Put as your second right hand weapon, once you kill the Drakeblood knight switch to it before the soul count shows up to get ~1000 extra souls per kill.
-
Just get the pyromancy spell called"rapport". Go to the grand archives and cast it on the 3 winged beast trio. Just watch them kill each other. Make sure to have the medicant staff, silver covetous ring, shield of want and symbol of avarice equipped. Also they have a nice titanite chunk drop rate.
I usually get 1 million+ souls an hour farming these guys on my 1st walkthrough of the game. On NG+ you just get a ridiculous amount of souls. -
Check out me crappy vid. Another way to farm
-
There is a more efficient way of farming for souls and you usually get around 13,000 souls per kill and there are 2 enemies and a bonfire right behind you
-
orios the consumed king
-
why do i get ~6500 souls per kill? i have the simbol of avarice, the shield of want, mendicant staff and ring... what am i doing wrong?
-
The best part about this method is that its safe. If you fuck up and die, unless youre retarded you wont lose your souls.
-
I have a place that gives you about 1,782,000 souls in an hour, have the ring equipped and fight the three silver knights before Anor Londo, they give about 30,000 in 3 and a half minutes, depending on your equipment
-
it still work's but if you want to you can stand behind him and back stab him when the light under him is out the best place to farm is at the winged knighta
-
going to NG+ or NG++ makes this HUGELY beneficial as well I used to farm the angels before the twins 14k with shield of want and covetous silver serpent ring on NG and on NG+ its 34k per angel kill but there are only 4 so about 136k per run but the dragonblood knights give 15k per kill in NG+ with CSSR+1 and shield of want but risk running into havel remember that
-
what weapon is he using for this?
2m 12sLength in seconds
