I have some old saw dust it's for the most part decomposed, can i add this to my potato patch, i plan to till it in for next season?

White vinegar is good for killing individual weeds, meaning that you don't want to spray it in a large area as it will kill grass or other plants that get caught in the spray. I found this out one day several years ago while cleaning my birdbath. I dumped out the water/vinegar on the lawn and the next day it was yellow and dead. Oops!

mixing dish soap with vinegar will neutralize its acidity to the degree soap is added. it is the acidity of the vinegar that kills the plants and nothing else.
maybe if you use very, very small amounts of liquid soap with undiluted vinegar, the pH increase would be negligible and the soap would act as a dispersing agent -
Great video, thanks for the ideas.

My favorite way to deal with weeds is pulling them.. it gets me in touch with what my plants want.

If I killed the weeds, my whole yard would be dirt.

Try hot boiling water. I boil the hot water in a tea kettle. Once hot I apply it to the undesirable weeds😊

Enjoyed your video. Nice tips! I like your mulch ideas. I personally use the ornamental mulch on all of my perennials and shredded leaves around my veggies.
