This is my length check for reaching 3.5 years in my natural hair journey. I grew out the average 1/2 inch per month which would have equaled 2.5 inches. I cut 1 inch early March due to split ends and knots so I have 1.5 inch of growth. Royalty Music by: Dan-O-Song Title: Magic Ghost Ship

I've heard that steroid shots to the scalp leaves dents in the scalp and makes it feel "different". What was your experience with it?

I'm looking into getting scalp injections for my bald spots...

Wow, so did the prescription help your scalp? I've always had problems with the left side of my hair being the thinnest even when I was relaxed. It's only when I flat twist my hair and notice a small spot or two on the left side of my head one being n the back where when I part IT a small spot seems wider than the other areas of the part and it feels smooth like it's dead or something. Is that what ur scalp felt like?? Thks for the vids

If you wouldn't mind sharing some maintenance routines... I just took out my hair and decided no more weaves.. I want to be able to do my weekly protein treatments etc. I love your hair!

I have been natural since oct 2012 I big chopped in July 2013. I have the slightest idea of what styles to wear because I don't have a twa but my hair would not be considered medium length. On top of that I have awful shrinkage and 4c hair! What should I do nalia

Contd. will need to cut again to level off all areas. It is also a lot thinner than usual. Waiting on volume to return. But all in all I'm just happy it's not falling out any more.
