i tried bury boiled chicken beans and bury them in my vegetable garden. The worms in my garden loves them and so do the vegetables.

I will just bury the thing in the backyard. It should decompose within a week or two.

2reasons: Thanks for the Great question - The cool thing about the beneficial minerals like Potassium and other most other minerals is that they are NOT destroyed or diminished by heat. Therefore the drying process allows them to quickly break down and assimilate into the soil.
