Info My natural hair journey: In this video I share with you all pictures from the beginning of my healthy hair journey (October 8, 2010) to Dec 2011. I also share tips on how to grow afro textured hair out healthy and longer. My goal is to go from APL(armpit length) to BSL(bra strap length) by Dec 2012 I will be flat ironing my hair between April-May 2012 for an accurate length check and to trim 1/2 inch off so stay tuned Thanks for watching rate comment & subscribe

The only thing I disagree about is when people say cutting ends is a must. I hear people say you have to cut the dead ends of your hair, and I'm thinking to myself hair is dead from the scalp out! I have my hair in curly twist and when it comes to the ends I twist them with extra gel or grease I'm using my ends have no breakage what so ever. I get an evening trim once a year or not.

Hey carmarule1 are you retaining the length that you grow each month by taking care of your ends, trimming lightly, moisturizing & sealing with an oil, handling your ends with gentle care, deep conditioning, scalp massages. I'm sure you will start to see progress over time just stay consistent, let me know how it goes.

For everyone out there b4 starting on any hair growth method, check first to see if its a medical condition first. Lupus, thyroid problems, PCOS, Hormone inbalance, and believe it or not even being very overweight ( not for everybody just some ppl) can cause hair not to grow. When i started seeing i was losing my hair but growing a beard (lol) i knew something was wrong. In my case it was my thyroid.
