Dry them on a cookie sheet and then put them in a bowl in your ice box or freezer, or rub them in your hands to get rid of food prep smells. 2. Plant food. Plants such as for instance rosebushes, azaleas, rhododendrons, evergreen and camellias that prefer acidic soils will appreciate the leftovers from your morning cup. Also, grounds can add on nutritional elements to your compost bin. 3. Insect repellant. Sprinkle old grounds around places you don't want ants, or on the ant piles themselves. We're supposed to mix 1/4 cup warm, used coffee grounds with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then, while standing over an old towel or newspaper, we're to utilize the mixture to the "problem areas". Next, wrap the areas with shrink wrap and leave on for a few moments. Unwind the wrap, brush loose grounds off our skin and then shower with hot water. For most useful results, it is suggested to continue this procedure twice a week. Only a little weird to make sure, but as high priced cellulite creams have coffee included, it may just work. 1 it doesn't deodorize, it simply over powers odors. The foul odors are still there.
it adds 2 or 3 elements plants need, not "all the elements"
repels slugs/snails and ants, but that's about it. Most of the damage done by insects simply ignore it.
unused coffee grounds make a very weak dye. You're lucky to get beige color from it.
scratch cover up works a little on leather, but pretty poor. A cheap repair kit costs about the same as a cup of coffee and is far better.
cleaning with grounds is excellent on cast iron pans/pots. Good point here.
I'll have to show you videos I guess of my cats digging in my garden (through the grounds)
we're back to number 2 and 3, it doesn't repel maggots and other bugs, but it's great for some nutrients for ALL plants, not just carrots.
ANYTHING wet works as a dust inhibitor for a fire place clean up...
name 1 company that uses coffee grounds as an ingredient for anti aging agent. Caffeine yes, but show us ANYTHING that shows coffee grounds themselves are used. -
