Really enjoyed this Brad, My girlfriend and I went to the Victoria Show - our first orchid show. We learned so much and have so much to learn. Thank you for sharing your 'haul' and I will see if I can also subscribe to Brad's Life. Very helpful video!

The green lantern dendrobium is dendrobium dawn maree x dendrobium cruentum. Common here in East Asia. Normal dendrobium culture. No winter rest.

I am in Los Angelo's so I grow my orchids outside or in the window but haven't done well with the lady slipper. Do you think I should try one in a terrarium? I am wondering if Los Angeles CA is too dry.

Nice collection Brad. Question for your expertise to share with viewers, at shows when plants are in black pots, how do you decided this is a healthy plant? Looking forward to the Cattleya blooms , the flowers are usually spectacular.
And also hope you are coming to the Vancouver show on 22nd, I will be there! -
