Nice cameo appearance by your little doggie :)

Haha! Real men DO read instructions. How do you think Einstein got to where he was?
-
Jon, do you also sell your crops at markets too? Surely you can't eat all that yourself?
-
I know that John will probably never read this so perhaps any of the subscribers would like to comment on the following question: I purchased an Earthbox like the one in this video and I'm curious to how "safe" it is to use plant starters from big box stores like Lowe's, etc. I plan on planting edible plants like herbs, greens, etc which obviously I will be ingesting. Any concern on eating these plants that are most likely non-organic? Thanks in advance...

Thanks, great tip.!

At the end of the video John didn't use the dipstick as a cue to add more water. The dipstick was all the way down so why didn't John keep adding water until the dipstick read full?

LOL where did that dog come from?

Too longwinded buddy! You are very knowledgeable, but less is more when teaching , sharing, or instructing in valuable info.

Omg cute dog. Thanks for the info. Its been a while now, more then 2 years. Most likely don't have them any more. I'm wondering if I should buy some cloth bags or a grow box. I filled up my raised bed and would like to grow more but I have a lot of concrete.

John, I love your videos, especially the longer ones. I'll watch them in the evening or while duplicating a gardening suggestion. This is a great lesson on thinking outside of the Grow-Box :D and how to get better gardening products at a lower price.
I've used your garden soil recipe and it works great! Good drainage, good water retention and it's enabled me to have living plants in August in Dallas when my neighbor is struggling to keep his plants watered. I garden in containers on my patio. Thank you! -
John the vermiculite you show there is the coarse grade, the medium or the fine one ?
-
John, I always enjoy your videos, no exception on this one. However, that was a good example for the kids you want to teach, throwing away the instructions is always a good lesson. I know, I do it too. That lesson should be be the parents job, just saying.... Keep up the good work. BTW, cute dog.
