How much water are you adding to the seed starting mix?

do you reuse your start trays from each season? would that be ok to do if washed well?

Hi gary, i was wondering if you use the plastic dome covering that comes with the green house tray?

Do you leave the grow lights on 24 hours per day until they germinate and then 16 hours per day?

Do you still recommend for a starting mix the use of peat moss and vermiculite? This worked well for me last year.

Hi Gary. I too am new to gardening and getting a lot of mixed intel. Like, do you recommend pre-soaking the seeds (3-4 hrs) ? I was told it helps speed up germination, can I reuse the soil for a new seed?

Oh my! I have done every thing wrong! Hope it's not too late! I started inside and moved to outside, in a single shelf-like green house. One day it's 85 next it is in the 50's. Guess where I live? Pacific NW. This explains a lot! Thanks for all your help. Hopefully I can recover them.
