1 of 3: Planting Radishes/Preparing the Soil and Seed Spacing: My 1st Vegetable Garden - MFG
Tips, Tricks
Welcome to My 1st Vegetable Garden. This channel is 100% dedicated to new vegetable gardeners that want to learn and have lots of questions. I will teach you how to seed start, plant, tend and harvest vegetables. Please subscribe! Radishes are cool season crops that can be planted in the spring and fall in many areas. They like very loose soils so the root/radish easily grows to size. They should NOT be given extra nitrogen as you will get more leaves than radishes. Please help spread the world of my channel to all the new gardeners you know that are looking for a friendly place to learn. Have questions? Leave them in any comment box and I will get back to you in 24 hours.

thanks!👏👍

Why do my radishes grow a red stem, then an "elbow" that bends down to the soil level and leaves beyond that which go up again? I have beautiful radish tops but no bulb.

love your videos. ive been trying to grow radishes with the help of your videos. failed 3 times now. this last time i didn't get bulbs, they kind of just grew long like a stem. do you think its my soil? I didn't water every day...maybe every other or 3. Maybe I have them too close together. Maybe not enough sun? Thanks
